The Model DV locking bars are surface-mounted to the inside of solid core door:

• On open-out doors, the lock is secured with nut plates and threaded rods, with the locking bars extending through slots in the door jamb.
• On open-in doors, coach bolts secure the lock to the door leaf, while nut plates and threaded rods hold the locking bar keepers on the inside of the door frame.
